Legal Attestation
Legal attestation is the chain of stamps that makes a Pakistani document acceptable abroad. We handle the full chain — Notary, MOFA Islamabad & Karachi and the destination embassy — for marriage, birth, death, education and authorisation documents.

The Pakistani attestation chain
For most documents: Notary Public → relevant provincial department (if applicable) → Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) Islamabad & Karachi → foreign foreign embassy (Islamabad or Karachi). Each step must be completed in the correct order, otherwise the next office will refuse the document.
Apostille and the Hague Convention
Pakistan acceded to the Apostille Convention. For member countries an apostille can replace embassy attestation. We advise on whether apostille or traditional attestation is right for your destination.
